SUBDIVISION

Land Subdivision

Subdivision of land is a process managed under the Resource Management Act 1991. It involves a subdivision consent application to the Local Authority (Council), the completion of any conditions imposed by the Council, a Land Transfer Survey and Registration of the new titles by a Solicitor. Surveyors manage the process up to the registration of the titles, providing advice on all aspects from how the District Plan affects the development of the land, designing the subdivision layout and how to maximise the lands potential.
